Ingredients

FRENCH TOAST

  • 10 slices of Sandwich Bread without crust
  • 7 oz of Dulce de Leche (200 g)
  • 2 units of Egg
  • 1/2 cup of Milk 4 fl oz (120 mL)
  • 1 tbsp of Sugar 0.5 oz (15 g )
  • 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract 0.16 fl oz (5 mL)
  • 1 tbsp of Butter 0.7 oz (20 g)

FOR DUSTING

  • 1/2 cup of Sugar 3.2 oz (90 g)
  • 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Take a slice of sandwich bread and spread a generous layer of dulce de leche on it
  • Close with another slice and cut in half
  • Repeat the process with the remaining slices and set aside
  • In a bowl with the eggs, add the milk, sugar, and vanilla extract, then mix
  • Quickly dip the slices of sandwich bread into the mixture, touching a bit on each side
  • Take a non-stick skillet and add a small amount of butter, set over medium-low heat
  • Place the French toasts and let them brown on one side
  • Then flip and brown on the other side
  • Mix sugar with ground cinnamon and dust the French toasts
